Biography
Joe Cahill (he/him) is an award-winning composer and producer based in New York City. His projects are versatile and span multiple artistic mediums, including immersive experiences, comedy shows, films, and musicals. He frequently draws on real-world inspiration and life experiences to take audiences on a journey.
Recent projects include THE GALAXY BRAIN EXPERIENCE (2023), a musical (Producer, Director, and Composer), which won the “Audience Choice” award at The Charm City Fringe Festival; UNIMPORTANT CONVERSATIONS (2024) (Producer and Composer), a comedy show at the NYC Comedy Festival that had a sold-out premiere; and FINDING NOW (2025) (Producer and Composer), a sensory-controlled immersive experience premiering at the Clive Davis Building in downtown Brooklyn.
Joe is currently continuing to build his immersive experience, "Finding Now," which invites participants to meditate and dance in visual environments including the beach, coral reefs, deserts, and mountains, accompanied by live original music. The upcoming show will be on July 15th.
He is passionate about immersive experiences, believing they are the future of entertainment. His goal with his immersive experience is to create a third place for people to relax, exercise, and socialize on a daily basis.
When he is not creating, Joe can be found training for his next marathon and surfing in Asbury Park.
